View on the ChurchToday, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary the Victorious is still a place not only of purely religious ceremonies, but also religious-patriotic celebrations organized on the occasion of national holidays and anniversaries commemorating the most important historical events of our homeland. There are also meetings of veterans' organizations of the Christian-independence trend and the tradition of reciting the occasional poems, theme-related to the anniversary or a particular person is being maintained.

Since leaving the church and monastery by the Visitation Sisters, the monastery building was taken over by the Ursulines (who are now in possession of some of its rooms), while the church is cared for by rectors, who despite many difficulties especially during the war and occupation, undertook a great deal of restoration and modernization. As a result of their efforts, the interior of the temple was gradually restored, all the altars, stalls and furnishings were refreshed with the exterior of the church. The heating and radio systems were installed, the rectory was renovated and  a sewer system was installed in there. The front door of the church were also renovated, new organs were installed on the choir, Juda-Thaddeus's statue was placed as well as a rock grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Stations of the Cross were purchased, which the church had not possessed until now, and also such items as speakers, a slide projector or bells and many, many other.

Particular contributions in this field belong to (in brackets there is a period in which they were rectors of the church): Pr. can. Jan Władziński (1903-1935), Pr. Stefan Galusiński (1945-1946), Pr. can. Andrzej Chlastwa (1947-1969), Pr. can. Stefan Młynarczyk (1969-1976), Pr. prof. hab. Dr Mieczyslaw Brzozowski (1976-1982), Pr. prelate  M.A. Zbigniew Czerwiński (1982-1987) and Pr. prelate can. Dr Franciszek Przytuła (1987-2009).

The current rector of the post-bridgettines church is Pr. can. M.A. Dariusz Bondyra (since 7 July 2009).
